The club is managed by a committee, which consists of the chair, secretary, treasurer and up to ten further members. All are volunteers.
The committee provides strategic decision-making for the club. It is responsible for ensuring the club meets its objectives, is financially viable, as well as safe and compliant with its legal obligations, including completing the annual LTA on-line risk assessment and maintaining a risk register.
The day to day running of the club is overseen by an executive committee including the chair, secretary and treasurer, which meets as necessary and largely informally i.e. non-minuted. The executive committee ensures the management committee is aware of any new guidance as well as of any concerns about the implementation of club policies and procedures.
Full information on the role of the management committee, its members and its procedures can be found in the management handbook below.
