Wimbledon 2012

The list of Duffield ticket-holders is now available. The tickets should arrive at the end of May when they will be distributed.

There is one pair of tickets unsold. They are for Friday July 6, No. 1 Court, £66 the pair. You will see semi-finals of doubles, junior and veteran matches. Please contact Keith Murcutt if you are interested.

The 2012 season is now under way. The men's first team played the seconds on Tuesday 1st May, resulting in a 7-2 win for the first team.

Would all captains please send their team photos to Keith Murcutt for our team gallery. Match reports would also be greatly appreciated - these will be posted on the News page.

Simon has launched a Junior Leaderboard as an incentive to youngsters to play in matches and tournaments. Points will be awarded for each event played and the board will be updated weekly.

The Leaderboard for this summer will run until August 31st.

Although we now have a rolling programme for membership renewal, for many of our established members renewal is now due. You may have already received a reminder by e-mail or in the post. For details of the types of membership and to download a form please go to our Join us page.

Please be aware that at the end of the month your key fob will automatically be deactivated if you have not renewed.

Walks organised by members take place on the last Sunday of each month. Strangely, they nearly always end up in a convenient alehouse!

The Banisters will lead the next walk on the 29th April. Meet at the club at 9.30 am, or at 10 am at the lay-by on the Common at Melbourne (DE73 8EE). See the Events page for subsequent walks.

The Ladies' Doubles Ladder for may is now available.

Please check the list - if your name is in pink you are responsible for organising this month's match. Matches to be played by May 31st. Players' phone numbers are listed on the club notice board.
