We are hopeful of a successful year in 2008, following the installation of new floodlights and the re-designing of the clubhouse lounge.
In 2007 we celebrated125 years since the formation of Duffield Tennis Club. The Squash Club joined us in the 1930's and in 1945 the club moved to its' present site 4 miles north of Derby. Special events took place on the evenings of Oct. 25, 26 & 27, birthday celebrations of the 2 clubs were combined with a beer festival at the clubhouse. Members and ex-members enjoyed festivities on the Friday and Saturday evenings.

Duffield Players 2007
We have 7 all-weather courts, 6 of them now are floodlit. There are 11 Duffield teams in the various Derbyshire summer leagues and others in the Indoor Winter Leagues, as well as social tennis, junior tennis and friendly games.
Where we Are
Duffield is on the A6 3-4 miles North of Derby. From Derby take the A6 north towards Matlock, pass through Allestree then into Duffield. Continue to the village centre and the Tennis Club is on the right just past the Co-op, the car park entrance is directly opposite the Post Office. On the map below, the A6 is in green, the Tennis Club is to the right of the first T in "Town Street", opposite the Duffield Post Office.
