LTA Jnr. Tournament at Duffield
The Duffield LTA Junior Tournament is taking place at the moment on the Duffield courts, it finishes on Friday August 20.
DERBYSHIRE CLOSED TOURNAMENT
This is being held at Duffield from Monday August 23 to Saturday August 29.
Junior events will take place during the daytime, adult events in the evenings.

Court 7 has been re-surfaced in Artificial Clay.
On the field of play, our Men's 1st team won the Derbyshire 1st division again in 2010. Since Hudson Oakenfull took over as 1st team captain, Duffield Men's 1 have come 1st in Division 1 in 2006, 2nd in 2007, 1st in 2008 and 1st in 2009 after last winning the title in 1979.
In summer 2008 we built a new pavilion and this follows the installation of 3 more sets of floodlights and the re-designing of the clubhouse lounge. Our Coaching Team is led by our Head Coach, James Grindell. It includes Simon Thornewill and Ashley Broomhead.
 In 2007 we celebrated125 years since the formation of Duffield Tennis Club. The Squash Club joined us in the 1930's and in 1945 the club moved to its' present site 4 miles north of Derby. Special events took place on the evenings of Oct. 25, 26 & 27, birthday celebrations of the 2 clubs were combined with a beer festival at the clubhouse. Members and ex-members enjoyed festivities on the Friday and Saturday evenings.

Duffield players
    We have 7 all-weather courts, 6 of them now are floodlit. There are 11 Duffield teams in the various Derbyshire summer leagues and others in the Indoor Winter Leagues, as well as social tennis, junior tennis and friendly games.
 Where we Are
Duffield is on the A6 3-4 miles North of Derby. From Derby take the A6 north towards Matlock, pass through Allestree then into Duffield. Continue to the village centre and the Tennis Club is on the right just past the Co-op, the car park entrance is directly opposite Duffield Post Office.
