An Audience with Helen Savage: Eight Years' Serious Work Avoidance

Our autumn social programme kicks off with an Audience with Helen Savage – an intrepid sailor, explorer, and former member.

Helen and her husband – both novice sailors – set off on a journey of a lifetime to New Zealand in their sailing boat, Grace. Intending to spend 2 to 3 years away, they are now in their ‘eighth year of serious work avoidance’, having visited Europe, Canada, the USA, the Caribbean, Panama, French Polynesia and, of course, New Zealand. Come and take the opportunity to meet up with Helen and share her experiences before she disappears again into the wild blue yonder.

Friday 6th September, 7.00 pm. £6

Book your place on the form below and we will add your name to the guest list once you have paid the fee into the Social Committee bank account (no tickets issued). The bank details will appear on your confirmation page.
