Social tennis
At the heart of club life at Duffield is our social tennis programme. Members of any ability can come along to regular sessions and mix in and play with whoever is there on the day. It is usually doubles, played in a relaxed social atmosphere. However, everyone, of course, still likes to win! (See our court etiquette page for information on playing matches and court priority.)
If you would like to join in, please just come along and make yourself known to the group (usually playing on courts 1 and 2). If you want more information about social tennis, contact Lorraine Faulkner and Louise Walker via our contacts page.
A Ladies Winter Doubles Ladder also operates. Sign up on the notice board if you would like to join in, click here to see this month's ladder.
We also have regular, non-tennis social events, organised by our social committee and shared with squash club members.
Social Tennis Sessions
Please note that all times are approximate – it depends on what time people turn up and leave on the day!
Ladies' night on Tuesdays and Men's night on Thursdays tend to be more competitive than other sessions. In March and April, these sessions are devoted to match practice.
